klein hoeraatje!

A while ago I told you HERE about my participation at the "Amsterdam rhubarb challenge". I had to send in recipes with rhubarb. Finally I send in two recipes and my rhubarb strawberry sorbet ice-cream made it into the final! I'm very exited about that and also a bit proud. I never thought that one of my recipes could make it into the final because I cook with these allergy restrictions. This means that I have to take my recipe to Amsterdam and a panel will judge it. Unfortunately is this the point where it ends for me because I can't take the recipe myself to Amsterdam and all the friends who can live to far away and that point the ice-cream will be melted… I have to pull the recipe back from the final but it still feels like a little victory!
As a thank you for participating I got a bottle of Rabarcello from Mister Kitchen, I can't wait to taste it! For more information and where you can buy it, click HERE.

It is that time of the year again to start sowing you own herbs and vegetable-plants. Actually it is already a bit late, not for herbs, but tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers I always sow by the end of March inside in a little cabinet with glass. I love fresh herbs in my kitchen to coke with and the first cucumbers are also already visible!
