Because it's still summer I thought I show you this combination of a photograph and drawing a quote in it. In this photo you can see 3 things which make me happy: my love for small (vintage) figures/toys, quotes and drawing (even if it are only the words;-) I make more of these combination and I thought this one was nice for this blog, because of summer. You can see more of these kind of pictures on Instagram, maybe I'll see you there?

favouriet Juli: eigen oogst

It started in June with the rhubarb in my garden and now it's time for strawberries. I have the "regular" strawberry in my garden and the wild forest strawberry, which spreads really fast. Every year there are new plants on different spots. Also I harvest the first cucumber and now I wait for the first tomatoes. A cliche or not: it taste better from your own garden;-)

Eat your greens

For my little shop I started a new series of jewelery. These are made of wood and I paint a text in combination with an animal on it. I did not wanted the animals to be very realistic, more funny. And this piece may be nice for the vegetarians among the readers of this blog, so ;-) If you want to know more about my jewelery, click here. Soon there will be more wooden pieces available.

favouriet Juni: IJS!

Right on time for summer, a post about ice-cream! I have been searching a while, but now I found the first ice-cream without additive addition, sugar and other mess in it and on a base of soy-and coconut-milk, so it's lactose-free. The base of Frozen Dutch ice is a minimum of 50% of fresh, dutch fruit, vegetables and herbs. mostly biologic. I really liked this this of coconut and honey and I had no full or fat feeling afterwards. The cup was empty very fast!. Next time I try their sorbet-ice-cream, on a base of water and after that I try the next brand that's sugar-and diary free, so to be continued! And: I try to make ice-cream myself...
